 William hill offer a free Scratch of the Day Promotion  Basically you log in, play a free scratchcard and win a prize. I played it today and won this offer: I then combined this offer with an odds boost and created and arb --  Thats 27p profit before the free bet!   I then laid the £2 free bet on smarkets for a £1.93 profit!

  In the above offer I combined an odds boost with a qualifying bet for a free bet. All things going well this could earn me £7!!!

  Today I won a £15 on a qualifying game on Paddy Power so I decided not to lay the first two legs of this accumulator. This is gambling, I do not condone it. I did it because betdaq was being stroppy and I couldn't be arsed cashing out and waiting. This is NOT a valid trading strategy. However this perfectly illustrates my notion of enhanced arbitrage: by padding out the higher staked game with two low odds games I have raised the odds and can therefore create arbitrage by laying at the exchange. In the next few days I will experiment by doing say 5 bets of 1.1 and then a bet of three in an accumulator.

 In Trading Secrets: 20 Hard and Fast Rules to Help You Beat the Stock Market by Simon Thompson I read that a good way to make money would be to buy things before the world cup, keep them whilst football kept people optimistic, and then sell them when teams start getting knocked out. I went one better and invested in Betfair before the world cup started. I will tell you the price before the tournament ends. Betfair is listed as Flutter entertainment and I bought my shares on Monday. I bought a $100 worth of shares in Betfair and interestingly they have gone up on Friday, the say before the typical football fixtures. I imagine they will shrink when the premier league is over and rise when the world cup comes up.

 Tomorrows free bet acca : I profited 10p on the qualifying bet  If this comes off I'll have made £1.91 in ten minutes. I checked on Betfair and won!  I also checked Betdaq and I can lay the final bet! £2.60 profit in ten minutes!

 I spend my spare time emailing publishers  Josh Gibbs sent us two more corrections: page 102 : under the middle diagram it should also read 'White wins, no matter who moves' instead of 'Draw...' page 199 , above position 12.36: 'defending pawn' should read 'defended pawn'.

  I did an accumulator with £2 with a horse I thought would win and a team I thought would win. I got home and I realised my plan had reached fruition! I now lay the final leg. So I am betting against Rangers to win.  I am using Betdaq as I need photo ID for Smarkets, but I would usually use Smarkets.  Rangers is 3.35 to lay and is lower than my special enhanced price of £5.5488 - This is an Arb! I will use odds monkey to find out the profit  The profit is £2.50 for 5 minutes work. I did an acca with Nottingham Forest and chose two teams I thought would win from betfair. The first two teams let me lay more and so guarantee profit In the future I will try this trade with £5 bets and see how many times it comes off. To conclude I let the first two teams of the acca ride and then lay the final team.  I will be experimenting with five team accas.

  I earnt £10 in 40 minutes today even though my bank card got blocked!  I put an acca on betfair and then tried to lay it on Betdaq! The bank blocked my card :( I then dutched it with money I made from Free spins after the first leg had finished.   I was awarded a £2 bet on top of the £7 I got from the free spins!
